Well what's been going on on the monkeymarc front I hear you ask. Lots in fact. He's been on Palm Island doing workshops with indigenous kids and keeping busy in his solar powered studio writing his new solo album. He has also been busy on a more global perspective. After the success of the Gotan Project, Philippe Cohen aka DJ $olal took a trip to Nashville Tennasee and recorded an album with some of Nashville's finest country musicians. The result was the critically acclaimed "Moonshine Sessions". Phillippe decided to remix the whole project and after aquiring artists from across the globe he finally landed in Australia. After hearing Combat Wombat's "Unsound System", he offered a remixing job to be done by the one and only monkeymarc. The compilation album should be out within the next few months so keep your ears out for some strange country madness.
